The Addison Engineering Buxton Hitmen continued their excellent run of form on Sunday by hammering the Kent Kings at home with an amazing 60-31 win.

Team Manger Jack Lee was over the moon “Unexpected win for us today last time Kent came here earlier in the year we beat them by five points, but they've strengthened the team since then so we were expecting a hard match from them today. Unfortunately for them some of their riders found the track tricky and were giving points away to us for fun really which meant we built up a massive lead and won the meeting by miles. I’m over the moon that we have got all three league points today as it means we can keep moving on up that league table. If we can keep riding like we are; winning meetings at home and picking points up away from home I’ll be very happy as we want to get into that playoff this year.”

Some of the team; Liam Carr, Adam McKinna, Charles Wright and Ryan Blacklock are representing the Buxton Hitmen in the National League Fours at Stoke on Sunday Mr Lee says he’s got high hopes; “I’m looking at the National League Fours on Sunday with a great deal of confidence really because the four riders we've got all go pretty well round Stoke and the group were in; Stoke, Kent and Dudley, we've had good results against so far this season. So I’m thinking we should be able to do what we did last year and get into the final, and hopefully this year we’ll win it. Last year we finished second with a referee decision going against us so hopefully this year we’ll go one better and win it we've got four good riders down their so we’ll all be trying our very best.”

The Next home meeting is bank Holiday Sunday against Dudley.
